Our customers use CommuniPix either as a standalone system or to augment their existing picture exchange card library. We encourage customers to use their digital cameras to take pictures of all aspects of their child's environment. View our Basic Deck for more ideas! Zeke has cards for:

Fill the Frame
When taking pictures for your own CommuniPix decks, try to have the item fill the frame when possible. Of course, you can use your favorite photo editing tool to crop the images as well.

We resize your images to fit into a 640 x 480 pixel frame
when you upload them, so you don't need to upload super-high-resolution images! Feel free to shoot and upload medium resolution pictures straight from your digital camera. When cropping in your photo editing program, however, try to crop to a 4:3 ratio so that your images won't get cropped when they are printed in your CommuniPix decks.

We have optimized the system for jpeg images
since so many digital cameras take them as standard. We can use RGB or CMYK, but an RGB image with an ICC profile attached is best. If these initials are alphabet soup to you, then just send the images straight from your camera, and we'll take care of the rest. Your pictures will look great, and you and your child will be delighted!
